post best
had a conversation with my iteks last nite and we were talking about criteria in a man that we like from of course, physical features and the little things he does. the little things i will not disclose exclusively to maintain 'sincerity'. hahaha (merepek dahhh)
haha ok i hope i don't come up with one of those katherine heigl's the ugly truth list of 'dream guy'. lol
(i'm not going to list it out, i'm just going to write in paragraphs for purposes only i can understand. hahaha. what's wrong with me today. or any day!)
please note physical features should not mean to discrimate anyone by any way at all. thank you.
if possible i don't prefer curly hair. i'm not a fan of bald heads neither.
(cropped photo) from here
particularly, nick jonas (far left) tight suit - yummy. he's an exception for curly hair. lol!
refering photo above, nick has dreamy eyes. and the body.. nuff said. heee... *wipes off saliva*
don't like it scrawny, don't like it brawny.
the mouth/lips factor is important. i can't define it here. only my heart can tell ;)
style i honestly say that it's NOT not important to me.. i'm remotely close to being stylish but i hope a guy is concerned about his personal appearance, hygiene, and grooming. a plus point if he likes wearing a fitted hirt (long sleeve rolled up) teehee
he has to look good in baju melayu!!!! (yang kena ada cekak musang, tak nak baju melayu johor style) hehehehehe....
sense of humor is a major factor. i think most of you would agree to this. i don't want clown funny, but witty. (demanding pulak aku) random funny is fun too, one good example is my good friend lyana (boo, shes a girl.. i'm straight. so takleh pikat. hahaha kiddin jangan marah). but being funny must come at appropriate time and place la kan.
being articulate is definitely a plus point, but not to the extend of being too much of a chatterbox and 'cakap kosong'. oleh itu, minda dia kena berjalan. means, he has to keep me on my toes with stories and news and facts so i can learn from him. i do know quite some stuff so don't try to impress me, but share with me. you can argue with me in debates but jangan nak tunjuk pandai sgt (if you do, i'll shut it and let you win. muahahaha) he has to be punctual (or at least keep me informed if he's going to be late) and has a sense of urgency and respect for other people's time. and i realize that early riser (esp during weekends) can really tell something about someone, esp a guy.. which is good, and impressive. he really has to know his priorities - God, family, best friends, work then me. I don't mind being the last in the list only with valid reasons which should only be explained with rational depending on situation. heh ;p
bonus, if he can sing (more added bonus if prolly play guitar with that. haha. im a sucker for acoustic ballads so that somewhat explains it).. another bonus if he can cook! hahaha. or dance. hmm.. where am i going now.. haha.
this is jason mraz singing 'sleeping to dream' unplugged. song introduced to me back in 2002 by alia ali
i don't want him to hold my handbag, for any reason at all.
i don't need a guy who buys me things. unless im married to him. ting! ;p

i wish i could express my thoughts and feelings into words as easy as words that come out from my mouth when i'm mad. lol.
i can't sing my heart out because saya sumbang.

menipuLATE the movie
speaking of video sharing (pls refer entry below) i forgot to share this movie, actually directed by my fave photographer himself, Ariff Aris.
if you haven't heard of him, then you're new to this blog. hehe. he also shot photos for my blogshop collection. first got to know about him when he took brilliant photos for my nephew Arif's birthday, thanks to my sis who found him online! so far i have refered him to nana's wedding (diyana yunus), zaza's engagement and maybe ikeen's wedding ;)

"bila ada twitter takyah blog" - lyana
itulah kata2 kawan kita, cik lyana uberlove baru-baru ni. it's true. when u have all the littlest things to say on twitter you can't think of anything else to share on the blog. well, perhaps this only applies to our situation.. and as for me i have been sharing photos and videos and not much of my personal opinion (esp on current issues), perhaps due to personal agenda and what not.
but yeah, the past weeked has been a satisfying one considering what i have spent on - food. :))
let me recall what i had.......
ayam penyet for lunch with dat and nana, then had takoyaki with them + lyana.. then shared pavlova with the 2 girls.. then malam belasah another nasi.. banana leaf rice with lyana, akma & amran!!
oh before banana rice, lyana brought us to this massage place so we spent an hour in heaven. haha!
the next morning after a good facial i walked over to piza uno for the much longed for ciabatta with pesto dip + balsamic vinegar by myself. had a good 2 hours sleep after that and accompanied my parents for some grocery shopping before heading to pyramid for yummylicious jcool yogurt with akma & lyana! these awesome girls sgt sporting coz tried them too. wee! i had mine with nata de coco. akma & lyana took mango, strawberries & nata de coco.
after that both of them had takotao (lyana had 2 takotaos in 2 consecutive days!!) ehehe. and akma had her bubble tea.
sorry all.. no photos this time. we were too preoccupied. :D

boo! happy halloween!
halloween's tomorrow and i don't celebrate it but i just wanna freak out some of you faint hearted readers (yes, im cruel) with some 'interesting' finds. i first learned to know about this from the movie The Others. Then one of my friend Farina posted a site called mental_floss on this on fb, which reminded me how fascinating photography is back then.
they call it the Victorian Death (post-mortem) Photographs.....
to those who have not heard it, let me extract an introduction taken from deathonline.net
It amuses me how people would keep post-mortem photographs of their dead family members or relatives as a memento. It may appear quite disturbing to our generation but back then it seemed to be quite common eh? I hereby attach some photographs I found via google search - let me warn you that these by far the most disturbing set of photographs i'm about to share on this blog and if you can't take it, DO NOT LOOK AT THEM! please view at your own risk. i am not responsible for any mental or emotional issues that rise after this experience. thank you.

to those who have not heard it, let me extract an introduction taken from deathonline.net
In Great Britain during the reign of Queen Victoria people usually died in their homes, surrounded by family and friends, and the corpse stayed in the home until burial. In the period before medical death certificates, viewing and touching the corpse was commonplace - to confirm identity and that the person was dead. Children were not spared from viewing the dead, and in poor homes would have shared the room and even the bed with a dying sister or brother.read more here..

Is it you?
I'm looking for a lover not a friend
Somebody who can be there when I need someone to talk to
I'm looking for someone who won't pretend
Somebody not afraid to say the way they feel about you
And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Wants to share, shows he cares
Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for
Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?
Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me? (Could you be?)
Could you be the one I need?
I'm looking for someone to share my pain
Someone who I can run to, who would stay with me when it rains
Someone who I can cry with trough the night
Someone who I can trust who's hardest right
And I'm looking for someone
And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Want to share, shows he cares
Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for
Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?
Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be this one I need?
Take for grant
How much I care (How much I care)
And appreciates that I'm there
Someone who listens
And someone I can call who isn't afraid of thought to share
Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
